Lamborghini Huracán LP610-4 Spyder to get Frankfurt reveal
Lamborghini has confirmed a new Spyder variant of its Huracán. Set to make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show, the new open-top Huracán will replace the ageing Gallardo Spyder in the company's line-up. This information was first confirmed to our sister publication Autocar UK at the Pebble Beach Concours event last year.
The new Huracán Spyder is expected to retain the same 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 that makes 602bhp and 57.09kgm of torque as the coupé. The performance figures will be revealed after the car's official launch, but it could be close to the Huracán coupé’s – a 0-100kph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 326.4kph.
To save weight, the Huracán Spyder will use a folding soft-top as opposed to the hard-top on its rival, the Ferrari 488 GTS.
